Running & Nutrition Workshop – Hosted by Noel Sutton
One of the beauties of running is that you can just put your shoes on and head out of the door. However, if you are looking to improve your running, this will only get you so far.
With a few small changes an individual can make big differences to their running. It could be understanding what sessions to do when and when in the week to do them. Almost always people misunderstand when to run easy and when to run hard and just how easy some runs should be. How to let their training plan evolve and develop over time to gradually build performance.
Noel Sutton works as a Nutritionist and Running Coach and helps a wide range of people from the young single, relatively time rich to the parents who need help with a suitable structure around their busy lives. Work, life and family create a unique personal circumstance, its important to learn how training and nutrition will wrap around your life. Noel is really passionate about helping normal runners with the frustration & anxiety of getting the most out of their training. Whether that’s balancing training with children or a busy career (or both), it might be just your unique stress.
Thanet Roadrunners AC would like to put together a free evening hosted by Noel that will help our runners understand the specific needs and focus of training to help them achieve their best out of their running. This will include lots of general running advice but specifically will be geared towards running and racing over the 10km distance. Additionally we will also be looking to put together a separate evening aimed at running nutrition, which will be more general and will aim to cover aspects that you should consider whether you are running 5km’s or Marathons, 800m’s on the track or Ultra Endurance events.
Whilst a date and venue are to be confirmed, at this stage we wanted to see how many of our runners would be interested in attending.
