Thanet Coastal 10 and 5 Mile Race 2024

Joining the SEUK line-up for 2024 is the Thanet Coastal 10 & 5 Mile. Using the majority of the Alan Green Thanet 10 Mile race route organised by Thanet Roadrunners for many years, but with some changes to make it even better than ever.

This event offers you the choice of a quality 10 mile or 5 mile run. Taking place just before as the festive season starts it is a great way to get a last race in before Christmas takes hold!! The route is along the lovely Thanet Coast in East Kent with far reaching views out to sea. It really is suitable for everyone.

We’ll have a special medal celebrating the event for EVERY finisher, great refreshments, music and commentary.

We will be providing a live feed onto our website for results – so cross the line and your result goes live!

There are prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female,1st male and female VET40, 50 and 60.

Advanced entries: £26 affiliated club members, £28 unaffiliated
On-the-day (subject to space): £35

5 Mile
Advanced entries: £22 affiliated club members, £24 unaffiliated
On-the-day (subject to space): £30

ADVANCED ENTRIES OPEN UNTIL 1PM THE WEDNESDAY BEFORE THE EVENT. THERE MAY BE ON THE DAY ENTRIES SUBJECT TO SPACE.

Under UK Athletics rules the minimum age for the 10 Mile race is 17 years on the day. The minimum age for the 5 Mile race is 15 years on the day.
