Sittingbourne Striders 10 mile

On Sunday, Sittingbourne Striders teamed up with Sporting Events UK for a 10 mile race.

 

With the Event HQ in the Kent Science Park the new route had some of the old sections (Stockers Hill had to stay in!!!) together with some new. 

 

Taking in the lovely countryside, our very own Mark Croucher took on the course.

 

 

 

 

Mark finished in a time of 67:12 and was 6th overall out of 195 runners.

 

On a hilly course this was quite some feat!

 

Mark said he enjoyed the run and was impressed with many freebies including a post race free massage and bags of free food put on by the striders.
