Harbour Wallbanger Donation to Broadstairs Surf Lifesaving Club

Following our most successful Harbour Wallbanger Beach Race in June this year, Thanet Roadrunners AC presented a cheque for £256 to the Broadstairs Surf Lifesaving Club. The Broadstairs Surf Lifesaving Club, based on Viking Bay Beach Broadstairs, promote water safety and teach valuable lifesavings skills.

For each runner that completed the race a £1 donation was made to this incredibly worthwhile charity. Thank you to each and every participant.

The Harbour Wallbanger is a very popular 7km race on the beach from Broadstairs harbour to Ramsgate and back again taking in some of Thanet’s best sandy beaches. This year’s race was ably organised once again by Race Director Spencer Hoult and a team of volunteers from the Thanet Roadrunners.
