Maidstone Half Marathon + Club Champ results so far…

Final Club Championships Road Race of the Season at the Maidstone Half Marathon

** Race Report by Jo Kemp**

Some fantastic performances out there today by team TRAC in some difficult windy and rainy conditions. An extremely hilly course (up, up and eventually down!), where even the downhills are tricky to take advantage of. The route starts and finishes in the lovely location of Mote Park, heading out into the countryside via a few of the town roads. Thank you to Maidstone Harriers and all the marshalls.

Somehow Jay Bailey managed to get his half marathon PB out there today on that course! Fantastic running!

This was the final Club Champs and Kent Grand Prix race of the season. I will keep an eye on the KCAA page when they update the final results to see if TRAC are able to secure a top 3 team position after some great results today. And hopefully some brilliant individual and age placements too.

Well done and thank you to everyone who has supported the Club Champs and the Kent Grand Prix this season, putting our small but mighty club on the map once again!

Calling in Marathon Time submissions

But it’s not quite the end of the TRAC club champs as there are still the hard earned Marathon times to collate and points to calculate. I know we are not at the end of the year yet and there are still some marathons coming up. (Good luck everyone!) But if you have a marathon time to submit for club champs points please start to do so asap via runcaptains@thanetroadrunnersac.com.
