Pegwell Bay park run takeover – 23rd April.

TRAC Takeover of Pegwell Bay ParkRun

We are pleased to announce that Thanet Roadrunners have agreed, once again, to take over all the volunteer roles at Pegwell Bay ParkRun. This will take place on Saturday 23rd April 2022. This is the day before the club champs race at the Chatham 10k, so if you’re going to be resting anyway…

This is a great opportunity for us to publicise our club to potential new members as well as support, what to many of us, is a regular & popular event in our running lives.

Volunteers are required for all roles, these being as follows:

Run Director
New Runners Briefing
Timekeepers x3
Barcode Scanners x3
Writer
Finish Tokens x2
Funnel Manager
Road Marshals x4
Kissing Gate Marshal
Corner Gate Marshal
AED
Pacers (18, 21, 24, 27, 30 & 35 mins*)
Tailwalker

(* Pacer roles are only filled once all other volunteer roles have been filled, if you want to pace, you must also choose another role at the same time)

Please volunteer by stating which role you would like to fill. Where possible, your desired role will be allocated to you, but please be prepared to take another role, if required.

Please email me at kitmanager@thanetroadrunnersac.com or by commenting below the appropriate post on the TRAC Facebook page.

Thanks for your help.
