Club Statement

In line with guidance from UK Government and England Athletics, Thanet Roadrunners AC have taken to decision to immediately suspend all Senior and Junior activity including club training sessions and events until at least the end of April.

Thanet Roadrunners AC have also made the difficult decision to postpone our Sackett 10K Race that was due to take place in May until next year. Everyone who has already entered will be automatically carried over to next year. If you have any questions about this, please contact race management.

The Harbour Wallbanger, scheduled to take place at the end of July, is currently still on, but we will continue to monitor the situation and provide an update if anything changes.

Where possible, athletes and runners at all levels are encouraged to maintain their own personal fitness and keep active during this time, while following government guidelines about safe distance and safe exercise environments.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide an update once we have any further guidance or information. Any update will be communicated via our website, emailed to club members and published on our social media channels.
