Thanet Roadrunners in support of World Mental Heath Day
Thanet Roadrunners, along with our #RunAndTalk initiative, will be encouraging our runners to take part in World Mental Health Day.
World Mental Health Day is on Saturday, October 10th and the club’s Mental Health Champions are asking club members to do just one thing: go for a run with a difference!
Forget about the time and distance and simply go for a run to support this global initiative.
While you are out running, you could:
- Wear something green to represent mental health awareness.
- Take a photo of something unusual, or inspiring that you see on your run.
- Walk or run with a member of your family and take a photo together on the route.
- Do anything else that inspires you!
When you have completed your run, please post your pictures with a few lines about your run and why you love running. We will look to collate them and create a montage of our runners celebrating World Mental Health Day.
