Autumn / winter training – “Be safe, be seen”

Just a reminder to all of our members that as the nights have started to draw in please ensure that you wear bright colours for our evening club runs. Wearing reflective clothing and light / head torches will be even better.

Our Run Leaders will also be taking the darker evenings into account when planning their run routes to help ensure that they are as safe as possible.

Please make sure that when you are out running in the evenings, whether it’s with the club or on our own, make sure you follow the motto “Be safe, be seen”.

This video shows the difference between runners wearing reflective gear and white gear in the eyes of approaching motorists.
