Thanet Roadrunners are sad to announce the passing of Richard Stirk

Richard was a Thanet Roadrunners stalwart and at 45 years old his death is a huge shock to everyone.

Richard represented Thanet Roadrunners for many years.  He also coached our junior athletes in all weathers for many years.  He was also the club ‘kit man’ for several years.

Richard was fantastic motivator of others.  He took his coaching seriously, but didn’t take himself too seriously!  He loved his family, his music and his running. 

Thanet Roadrunners would like to express our profound shock at his sudden passing and send our thoughts to his family and friends.
