We’re gutted… Cancellation of the Ricki Savage 20 Mile Race

We are sorry to report the cancellation of this year’s 20 mile race. A race like this needs multiple volunteer marshals and other helpers; a combination of time of year, Mothering Sunday, colds and illnesses meant we weren’t confident of raising the numbers required to meet our very high safety and organisational standards. The safety and well-being of our competitors is always our top priority.

The Race Director has written to each entrant inviting their application for a refund of the entrance fee.

Lesson learned will be carried forward to our exciting future races including the Sackett 10k and 5k race on 18th June or our iconic “Harbour Wallbanger” Beach Race on 9th July.   Looking forward to seeing you there!
