Juniors’ Cross Country race report – Foots Cray Meadows

This was a great venue for the first of a series of four races organised by KCAA coming up in October and November.

Despite a short shower at the start, the sun came back out for the race and the girls were lucky with no wind to battle against this morning.

They were a bit nervous when being held on the start line, but set off at a great pace and gave an excellent account of themselves around Foots Cray Meadows. A nice route to start the season, all grass and only a few inclines to navigate.

Some fantastic performances by the TRAC junior girls in a very competitive county race. Well done to you all and good luck for the upcoming races.

3.2 Km

Thank you to all the Junior coaches who are very much appreciated, Derek, Kev and Ian and to especially to Gary for organising and encouraging the girls today.
