Free Running & Nutrition Talks
Following a successful response Thanet Roadrunners AC have organised several free talks that will be hosted by nutritionist and running coach Noel Sutton. These talks will be open to all and take place in September. They will aim to help runners understand the specific needs and focus of their training to help them achieve the best out of their running.
This will include lots of general running advice but specifically will be geared towards running and racing over the 10km distance, cross country training and marathon training. Additionally there will also be a separate evening aimed at running nutrition, which will be more general and will aim to cover aspects that you should consider whether you are running 5km’s or Marathons, 800m’s on the track or Ultra Endurance events.
The three evenings will be broken down into the following subjects:
Talk 1: Wednesday 11th September
- Your Best 10km
- Training principles
- Structuring 10km training plan
- Considerations for 10km training
- How to race your fastest 10km

- Considerations for planning your Cross Season training.
- How to race Cross Country.
- How to lay the foundation for your Spring Marathon.
