Club Annual General Meeting – Friday 19th May
THANET ROADRUNNERS AC: NEW COMMITTEE MEMBERS REQUIRED
Ahead of our AGM at 7pm on Friday 19th May at the newly refurbished San Clu Hotel, Victoria Parade, Ramsgate, the club secretary is giving advance notice that, in accordance with our Club Constitution, all Executive Committee Roles will be vacated immediately prior to the AGM pending election of a new Committee.
Our Membership Secretary is standing down and Jo Holl with Julie Neaves have stepped forward to cover this role, as continuity ahead of the subscription renewal cycle, at the beginning of April is essential. This role will still be up for election in accordance with the Club Constitution.
With several key roles up for grabs it’s an excellent chance to come forward in support of your Club. None of the roles are onerous, there will be comprehensive handover support and, to help you decide which role best suits your skill set, Role Descriptions are attached for you to see details of responsibilities and typical time commitments.

Please don’t think you need to have been in the club for years to be part of the committee. New members bring enthusiasm and fresh views and ensure we’re innovative and outward looking.

Both running captains, club secretary, membership secretary have expressed an intention to stand down after many years great service for the club.
Club kit-man Kev Billions will be present with a table heaving with TRAC kit. We are now able to take card payments too.
